Kornbread Jet parents: Who are her mother and father?

Kornbread Jeté is the stage name of American drag performer Demoria Elise Williams (born January 14, 1992), better known as “The Snack” Jeté or simply “Kornbread.”

Williams was raised in Columbia, South Carolina, where she was born. Later, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in musical theatre.

Kornbread identifies as a woman. She has a good friendship with trans lady and fellow Drag Race competitor Kerri Colby.

Colby, in the words of Kornbread, “No one really realizes how much she has done for me personally because she has physically walked me through so much of my transformation. Although she is not my drag mother, I tell her that she is undoubtedly a portion of my trans mother.”

Kornbread is currently employed by The Abbey in Los Angeles and is also hosting weekly Drag Race watch parties at Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood.

She competed in RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 in 2022. She won the competition, which came with a $5,000 cash prize, by giving a performance of an original song routine for the talent show segment of the first episode.

She used a milk carton with a picture of former Drag Race judge Merle Ginsberg missing as part of her show.

Kornbread’s Parents

Kornbread is the drag daughter of Calypso Jeté Balmain who won the first season of Legendary with the House of Balmain.

There is no information on Kornbread’s mom yet. Kornbread said Colby has helped her through her transgender moments but does not regard her as her mother.
